DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) really just relates to the technology.
ADSL (Asymmetric DSL) is just one of the DSL family, the most common. Asymmetric meaning that the download & upload speeds are different, i.e 512 kbps/64 kbps. There's also SDSL (Symmetric DSL) where the download & upload speeds are the same. And there's more: HDSL (High Data Rate) VDSL (Very High Rate) & several others. The chances are, if you already have a DSL connection, it's almost certainly ADSL. ;) |

I've edited your post & suggest you don't throw insults around.
You might want to educate yourself a little too. Try some research. Instead of making inane & ill informed comments why don't you provide some feedback to people who are actually trying to help you , here for example ..... http://www.forums.supportmicro.info/index.php?showtopic=680 |

Hi Jacko,
I appreciate your intentions, though your editing is rather kind to gigi350 & sort of makes my response look out of context. So, just for the record, gigi350 originally called me a (insert insult of your choice here) & declared categorically that there was no such things as VDSL or HDSL. :D |
